Daniel is a Senior Vice President and Head of Economic Sanctions Advisory at U.S. Bank, with more than 25 years of financial services experience focused primarily on economic sanctions compliance. In this role, he leads the Economic Sanctions Advisory team and partners across the organization to translate fast-moving sanctions requirements into practical guidance, scalable controls, and timely risk-based decisions. His team serves as a subject-matter resource on global sanctions regimes, supporting enterprise responses to complex regulatory changes and delivering targeted sanctions training and updates for cross-functional stakeholders. He oversees critical sanctions reporting and responses to sanctions regulatory inquiries. Daniel holds an MBA from Boston University and professional credentials including Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB).
