ANNAPOLIS, MD and BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA – 24 September 2019, – TRACE, the globally recognized anti-bribery business organization, and the Argentine-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Argentina), an organization that fosters economic development by German companies in Argentina, have announced a new strategic initiative to promote transparency in business.
Through the initiative, TRACE and AHK Argentina will work together to support member compliance with third party due diligence requirements in Latin America and strengthen business ties between Argentina, Germany and the United States. Additionally, TRACE will offer AHK Argentina’s members the opportunity to complete TRACEcertification at a significantly reduced rate.
TRACEcertification is a heavily benchmarked and comprehensive due diligence review, analysis and approval process establishing that an individual or organization has been thoroughly vetted, trained and certified by TRACE. Completion of TRACEcertification will allow AHK Argentina members to serve as pre-vetted business partners for multinational companies seeking to do business with suppliers, agents and consultants that share their commitment to commercial transparency.
"The partnership between TRACE and AHK Argentina offers our members a competitive advantage while bringing increased commercial transparency to the region,” AHK Argentina’s Vice President Executive, Barbara Konner, said.
"We are delighted to be working with AHK Argentina’s members. TRACE Certified Due Diligence provides the transparency required by global business partners and offers AHK Argentina’s members the opportunity to complete multilingual online anti-bribery training,” TRACE President Alexandra Wrage said. “This initiative is well timed given Argentina’s current emphasis on anti-corruption efforts.”
TRACE engages in strategic partnerships with organizations worldwide that share its mission to promote transparency in international business and to achieve a common standard for anti-bribery compliance and third party due diligence. To learn more, visit TRACEinternational.org/partnerships.
