Annapolis, MD— 28 April 2020—TRACE is pleased to announce its compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2013, the most rigorous and globally accepted information security management system standard of its kind. Developed by the International Standard Organization and the International Electrotechnical Commission, ISO/IEC 27001:2013 sets requirements for the establishment, implementation, maintenance and improvement of an information security management system within an organization.

“We are pleased to have external validation of our robust information and data security standards,” TRACE President Alexandra Wrage said. “One of TRACE’s top priorities is protecting the data of our clients and members, who can rest assured that we are operating in accordance with globally recognized best practices.”

TRACE’s adherence to ISO/IEC 27001:2013 was confirmed by a series of third party audits, including an on-site visit and a comprehensive review of policies and procedures. “TRACE is committed to upholding the utmost standards of information and data security,” TRACE’s Director of Operations, Annie Thornton, said. “ISO/IEC 27001:2013 sets the highest bar for security, and we are pleased to be compliant.”
